The Depths / Low Activation
Every single thing takes ten times the effort it should.
You think you are not trying hard enough. You think other people deal with the same things and still get through the day.
You are not weak. You are running on a bank account that went to zero three weeks ago. Pushing harder accelerates depletion. The boring answer is the right one: lie down, breathe slowly, reduce demand.
They push through. They force the gym. They sign up for new commitments. The Weight is the body's demand for restoration, not motivation. The person who lies down and does 10 minutes of coherent breathing recovers faster than the person who forces a 5K run.
With rest and gentle breathing, The Weight lifts toward The Fog and then The Hum over days. The path is slow and boring. It works.
If The Weight is met with sustained demand, the reserves fully deplete. The Weight was the body asking. The Floor is the body forcing.
