They do not recognize it when it happens. The Clear is subtle. It is not euphoria. It is an absence of the usual chatter. Most people are so accustomed to internal noise that when the noise stops, they do not notice. Learning to recognize The Clear sooner is one of the highest leverage nervous system skills.
If you let The Clear fade naturally without stimulation, it settles into The Hum. The silence becomes a working presence.
You notice The Clear and start thinking about it. The analysis restarts the internal monologue. The Clear evaporates.
