  • Is Breathwork in Koh Samui for everybody?
    The live breathwork & Ice bath workshop in Koh Samui can be practiced by every healthy individual. However, If you are dealing with a serious medical or psychological condition, we advise to counsel a healthcare professional before. We advise being gentle practicing breathwork if you are dealing with any of the following: Epilepsy High blood pressure (in case of prescription medication) Coronary heart disease (e.g. Angina Pectoris; Stable Angina) A history of serious health issues like heart failure or stroke Pregancy If you suffer from migraines, we urge you to be cautious about taking ice baths.
  • What are the prerequisites for enrolling in a freediving course?
    At Breathflow Connection, we require all students to meet the prerequisites set by Apnea Total Freediving Organisation. These include being at least 18 years old, having basic swimming skills, and being in good physical and mental health. Additionally, students must complete a medical questionnaire and be able to demonstrate a comfortable floating ability in water. These prerequisites are essential to ensure the safety and success of our students during their freediving courses. If you have any concerns about meeting these prerequisites, please feel free to reach out for further guidance.
  • Is Freediving Safe?
    Sure, but it's important to practice freediving responsibly with proper training, equipment, and safety protocols. However, just like any adventure sport, there are some risks involved, especially when pushing the limits of breath-holding and diving to significant depths. Accidents could potentially occur due to shallow water blackout, lung barotrauma, hypoxia, or other factors if divers are not adequately prepared or if safety guidelines are not followed. Professional instruction, gradual progression, and diving with a trained buddy are important for minimizing risks and ensuring a safe freediving experience.
  • How much does a Freediving Course in Koh Samui cost?
    The exchange required for the beginner Freediving course is between 9,500 - 11,500 depending whether you book with us directly or through an online travel agent. (It's cheaper to book directly) Additional Single day coaching sessions are 4,000 THB per person, per day.
  • How long does the Freediving Course in Koh Samui Last?
    Our Beginner Course spans 2 days, providing essential skills and knowledge. Day 1 introduces you to the basics, and while completion earns you a diploma, full certification requires both days.
